Celebrations included: 2 years as a married couple (8 as a couple), Nathan & I both turned 28, and Alexander turned 6.
There are so many beautiful places in the woodlands to traverse with tranquil settings. Getting out and discovering new to us places is one of our favourite things to do together as a family, and this year we came across a couple of new ones, with a trail in the hills being a new favourite find.
We've made many visits to see the ducks also, with it being wonderful to see them as ducklings and grow.
Of course we have loved our canal walks too... I mention those frequently here!

Snow was had, ever so briefly here (in February and early April), and enjoyed whilst it lasted.
Alexander began swimming lessons in the spring of this year, and also joined the Welsh folk dancing club at school in autumn.
For the fourth year now Alexander has completed the summer reading challenge at the library.
Also in August we took a short break to the south coast of England, spending three nights in Bournemouth, including a day trip to Poole Quay.
Alexander chose to have his hair, that he had been growing out for almost three years, cut short in autumn.
In November we went to see Dippy on Tour at the National Museum Cardiff.
...your first image is fabulous and I'd love to be able to hike along one of those trails. The little 'snow angel' sure is getting BIG!
