We spent our first full year in our very own home.
We took part in an Easter Bunny Trail.
We went and saw Disney on Ice.
We all enjoyed eating at a new dessert restaurant.
We enjoyed many a canal walk along our local path, and extended the distance we walk on said path - something we were aiming to do.
We stumbled across a little hidden woodland area along the aforementioned canal path, during spring, when the bluebells were in season.
We visited the ducks at the duck pond often, and have loved watching the ducklings grow.
We went on holiday here in Wales, visiting the coastal town of Tenby for three nights.
We visited a local castle - Caerphilly Castle - and all have fond memories of our time exploring the ruins.
Alexander started full time school in September, and whilst it has been somewhat bumpy beginnings, he is thriving academically.
Nathan advanced in work, now holding a team leader position.
Upon Alexander starting full time school, I started volunteering a few hours a week in a local charity shop.
We celebrated our seventh anniversary as a couple, and first being married.
I had my best reading year to date, completing 108 books.
We ended the year talking over our favourite memories & moments of 2018, and discussing all that we hope to do in 2019.
...2018 looks to have been a great year for you and your family, my best wishes to you for a fabulous 2019.

DeleteHi Jade, what lovely memories 2018 holds for you and I hope that 2019 does the same. I hope that the canal walks still continue now that Alexander is at school. I am in awe of how many books you have read! I love reading and do read everyday, but have never come close to reading that many books, in my defense I am very easily distracted!
