Today I'm sharing some photos taken this weekend, whilst out enjoying a crisp autumn morning walk. Autumn is my favourite season of all, and I'm loving all that has come with it - especially the turning of the leaves.
The three of us set out bright and early - as we tend to do - and enjoyed a wander in relative quiet, seeing a handful or so of people whilst out. There was beautiful sunshine (& the moon was still out actually - which is one of Alexander's favourite things; a morning moon), a freshness to the air, and signs of the shifting season across the landscape. As well as admiring our surroundings and the beauty of early autumn, we also spent a good amount of time watching the antics of the squirrel you'll see pictured below.
Enjoy your outdoor adventures, and the beauty of nature!

Ah yes, someone else appreciating the changing seasons! the image that really sticks out for me is the dew on the grass. You've captured some amazing detail in that pic. #mysundayphoto

ReplyDeleteIt has been three months, Tom - we won't leave it so long next time :-P
DeleteStunning photo's Jade, you've captured autumn perfectly. Daisy and Jake get so excited when they spot the moon still out on our way to school.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angela.
DeleteAlexander is the same - interesting seeing such simple things, that end up being marvels, through their eyes.
What wonderful photos. Everything is so pretty at this time of year x
ReplyDeleteAutumn is beautiful!
DeleteHi Jade, the beuaty of nature is never more evident than it is first thing. I like the morning moon reference, I've never really thought of it like that before, but Alexander is right!...We don't get squirrels here, but one year when we stayed with my sister in the UK, they had a regular squirrel visitor and I could watch it for ages.
