This year I'm attempting to complete 'Project 365' - I compile a post on a weekly basis with photos from the week as well as sharing a few words giving them context.

After a long old winter, and dreary start to spring, today parts of the UK experienced a heatwave - including us here. The skies were blue, the sun shone high in the sky and the warmth on bare (but protected) skin was so needed; such an uplifting feeling. We made the most of the sunshine by spending time in the garden after nursery.
Heatwave continues - not a cloud in the sky & the perfect shade of blue.

Another glorious day, and with Nathan off of work today, the three of us enjoyed a lovely walk in the morning. The ever curious Nathan took us on a bit of a detour, and we stumbled on this beautiful woodland area complete with a little meadow of bluebells also - my first bluebell sighting of the season.

The heatwave has most definitely passed us now, but of course that doesn't stop us from getting out & about. Today the three of us ventured out for a little walk, and although we wore raincoats, the predicted rain didn't fall... Well, until late afternoon that is.
...nice shots!
