I know I've voiced my opinion a lot about the arrival of spring, and on Tuesday I thought my wait was over. We woke to glorious blue skies, sunshine, and the temperature high being in double digits.
Spring had sprung!
I felt so happy & motivated - I started a spring clean of the house; getting into all the nooks and crannies that hadn't seen any love since before winter. I opened the windows wide, letting in fresh air and the sound of birdsong. An afternoon nature walk was enjoyed, without a coat on. I repeat, without a coat on. That's how nice it was outside.
Tuesday was the epitome of a spring day.
Tuesday was the epitome of a spring day.
And then came a rather windy Wednesday, followed by a cloudy & wet Thursday, and here we are today with it looking much the same... Good job I didn't prematurely pack my winter coat away.

It’s been nice to have a taste of spring this week even if winter is due to make a brief return at the weekend. Hopefully next week will see a few more spring days though and that first trip out without a coat after the winter is always so nice :-) #WotW
ReplyDeleteAfter a long old winter, the first outing without a coat is just lovely... If only it wasn't a one off. Haha!
DeleteSpring is certainly teasing us at the moment, coat on, coat off rinse and repeat. I'm sure I've seen snow and minus temperatures forecast for the weekend, hopefully that will be the last we see of Winter. Have a lovely weekend x
ReplyDeleteYes - we've had a fair amount of snow over the weekend, and I'm hoping it's the last of it that we see for a good while now! I hope you had a lovely weekend.
DeleteWithout a coat on, oh the dizzy heights of spring! And now it's getting chilly again, but at least you had that spring feeling momentarily! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
