Yesterday I set out for a walk, just me myself and I, to our local forestry area... I feel like I've been in a bit of a hibernation so far this winter, but I have really missed walking, so I'm making more of a conscious effort to get out and about now (other than just getting from A to B). This walk of mine was more about the act of walking itself and being surrounded by nature, but of course I did bring my camera along. The photos below were all taken on Saturday 6th January.
Enjoy your outdoor adventures and the beauty of nature!

DeleteHappy new year to you too :-)
Hi Jade, I love getting outside with my camera, I find it makes me really look at my surroundings. Your photos have captured the feel of winter nicely. Just looking at the duck makes me shiver!

Oh, shivering has been a daily occurrence this winter... I was nice and bundled up myself, plus the walking helps to keep warm.
DeleteI love bringing my camera along for walks, but it's good to find a balance between that and venturing out without it - soaking up the surroundings and being present.
A wonderful week to you!
I always say I'm not a fan of winter but I do love the crispness of it all and these photos make it all look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCrisp winter days are the best kind!
