I've always been someone who enjoys rain, especially the sound of falling rain whilst all cosy indoors, but I never thought I'd be someone who got used to rain. Not many like to be out and about adventuring in rain, but since living in Wales, I'd say I've gotten used to rain. You see, it rains literally at least once at some point during the day in Wales. Whether it's an overnight down pour, that misty rain that comes of a foggy morning, or just of a couple of hours of rain during the day - there is an abundance of rain in Wales. It's easy not to complain however because without all that rain we wouldn't have all the lush greenery surrounding us - compromise and all, right?!
Today I wanted to share five pictures I've taken recently whilst rain has been falling. I like them for equally different reasons, but my favourite is definitely the first picture as I feel like it encompasses a lot for one image - the leaves, the raindrops, the falling rain, and of course the spider web.
Beautiful, rainy pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's hard to capture in the rain - I don't want to ruin my camera. Haha!
DeleteBeautiful macros of the raindrops.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Tasha!
DeleteHappy to have discovered your blog - new follower :-)
Great photos! I like the first one because of the cobwebs.
ReplyDeleteThank you - me too!!
DeleteToo much rain here but you have managed to get some great photos out of it

Ah, thank you Molly. These pictures were taken from the safety of the back door. I would love to get further afield but with the rain we've been having I'm sure my camera would be ruined! I hope the rain lets off a little.
DeleteBeautiful pictures. And I agree, the first one is my favorite, too. In a few ways Wales is a bit like New Jersey ('the Garden State'), I loved the lush green scenery when I visited Wales (more than once :))
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you!
