Us Brits are known for our weather chatter, especially complaining about it. I'm not hear to complain, but to share a little about our winter so far. It started out mild, then we had incessant rain with sadly some areas experiencing terrible flooding, and now parts of the UK are covered in snow and it's bitterly cold. The description of cold is subjective really; my cold is probably not even cold compared to some who are reading here. Where I live we haven't experienced snow yet this year, but what we have seen is really heavy frost. Today I'm going to share a few pictures I've taken these past couple of days... The pictures have only been taken in my garden, because me and my toddler son have been hibernating basically, but I'm secretly hoping for a frost on the weekend - when my partner is home - so I can venture out and be a little more creative with my shots.
What weather has been gracing you of late?
Lovely photos of wonderful views!

ReplyDeleteAhh, thank you Lyn!
DeleteThe color is so icy, cool and appealing in your photos. But brrr...
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you!
DeleteI wonder why frost is named Jack? We are in the middle of a heatwave right now. It's too hot to think and I'd really appreciate some frost to break up the 107's
ReplyDeleteWow - that is hot!
DeleteStunning photos here Jade - I love the way frost just glistens on the grass in the morning - Tasha
ReplyDeleteThank you, Natasha. Sam; frost on grass is a favourite winter scene of mine.
DeleteIt's always a lovely sight to see!
DeleteHi! The frost covered tree and plant photos are very beautiful. It's very cold in winter in Tokyo. But we have many sunny days in winter. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The sun has been gracing us a little bit of late, but it was quite bleak for a while. Wishing you sunshine this weekend! Thanks for visiting :-)
DeleteGood work capturing the frost on the plants.
ReplyDeleteBtw... Canadians love to talk about the weather too!

DeleteHaha, from all I hear about the Canadian weather, they have greater reason to yabber on about it!
