Little Loves | Baking, Books and Disney Vlogs

I honestly can't quite believe we're in the month of March now - January seemed to drag on and on, with February passing in the blink of an eye, so if March would like to progress at a nice steady rate then that would be great.

This week we've adjusted to being back at nursery, really gotten into our new family routine with Nathan in his new job now, and there have also been a few signs of spring in the air. All in all it has been a lovely week, and I hope the same can be said for your week also.

READ
I recently started a non fiction title: The Secret Library by Oliver Tearle. The book itself, with dustjacket on and off is beautiful, and the content is so interesting - I'm learning about new (bookish) things, and in a fun way. If you like books about books, then I recommend looking into this one

WATCHED
Nathan and I have been catching up on Disney vlogs a lot lately... We fell behind on the couple that we watch together, and have pretty much caught up now. I do love a Disney vlog. I was saying to Nathan that watching Disney vlogs definitely makes me want to return to Disney World like asap, but at the same time, I'm really glad that I found the Disney vlogging community on YouTube as just watching others immerse themselves in the magic and joy of Disney alone makes me so happy. I don't know if that's weird or not...

HEARD
Alexander and his chatter has been everything lately - every other sentence is making me chuckle. I think it's because we're at the point now where he is really sounding bigger, like a grown person, and yet he is the little human being, y'know.

'Oh my gosh and days' is one of his new sayings.

MADE
We made biscuits on the weekend. Nathan says we made cookies, however I disagree as there were no chocolate chips, and a cookie isn't a cookie without chocolate chips! We made biscuits; raisin and pecan biscuits to be exact. All three of us played a role in the baking, and the biscuits turned out delicious - they didn't last long in our household!

WORE
Again, I've got nothing for you.

AND LASTLY...
I took the Myers Briggs personality test for the very first time this week, and loved the entire process. I'm an ISFJ personality type, and reading over the profile of such a personality, I was astounded at just how much it applied to me. I did this during the period in which Alexander is in nursery (because y'know, adulting), and of course I then got Nathan to take the test when home also. Again, such a fitting result. If you've taken the Myers Briggs test, I'd be interested in hearing about your experience.

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

  3. Love Alexander's new saying, how funny. Parker's new one is 'Hi Mummy, how's you?' - bless them. I've never been to Disneyland but definitely want to visit as a family before Parker starts school. Enjoy your weekend xx

    1. It's so cute when they come up with new phrases and such.

I've never been to Disneyland Paris, however both Nathan and I have been to Disney World with our families when we were younger - we'd love to visit Disney as a family!

      I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

  5. I watched quite a few Disney Vlogs with O before we went to Disneyland Paris, he loved watching them and insisted on making little videos of his own whilst we were there. They were actually really cute to watch back. xx

  6. Years ago when I went to Disney World I couldn't get enough of the Disney forums, I loved reading about people's trip planning. I still pop in now again although we have no plans to go at the moment so I definitely don't think it's weird. #LittleLoves

  7. My littlest girl would agree with you on Disney vlogs, she is completely obsessed with watching them. Th downside to this is that she's always asking if we can go!
Hope you had a lovely weekend x

  8. Disney vlogs sound like lots of fun, and I bet they're a great way to live vicariously through those who are visiting the parks as well, as I've not been before so I love seeing it from a different perspective. Alexander's new phrases are very cute, they remind me of how we used to talk on the playground at school! The Myers Briggs test is really interesting, but I need to take it again as I can't remember what personality type I was, I think it started with I for more introverted but I need to do it again to find out the proper type! Sounds like you've been having a lovely time lately, and I hope the rest of the week is just as nice! - Tasha

    1. I'm definitely living vicariously through the Disney vloggers. Haha! The Myers Briggs test is so interesting, and I couldn't believe how insightful it was to my personality. I feel you on the introverted personality - I'm the same too!

Thanks! I hope you're having a lovely week, Tasha!

  9. Hi Jade, Shannon here! I couldn't agree more with you about Disney Vlogs! I wish I could start planning my own trip for Disney rather sooner than later, but with a little boy on the way I doubt that would be happening anytime soon. I guess I'll just indulge in youtube videos as well for now! =)
