More Fallen Leaves...

The weather outside is pretty frightful here in the UK at the moment - in some places there has been snowfall, we experienced quite a storm with some of the strongest winds I've felt, and we're waking up to frost and brisk chills daily. And here I am to share some pictures of leaves.... Most of the trees are bare now, but I still had a few pictures I wanted to share of fallen leaves. The changing of the leaves and the subsequent falling is one of my favourite things about autumn, and so that's why you've been seeing a lot, a lot, a lot of colourful leaves here on Captured By Jade. So whilst it's feeling a lot like winter right now, autumn is still technically here and so I'm going to indulge in it just a little longer.

I know the weather can seem like a tedious subject, but with commenters on my blog being from various places around the world, I'd love to know what the weather is looking like where you are right now.

  4. Wonderful colours - most of our native trees do not drop their leaves in autumn or change colour - most of the autumn could we get here comes from introduced trees. And I have to wait about 6 months to see any. Nice to see some now!

    1. They are, aren't they? It's a little sad seeing them go.

Ah, I'm sure it'll make a return once more. A winter wonderland is quite something special... But in small doses!

  8. I adore autumn leaves and all their colours, growing up I rarely saw them as we lived in the tropics.
